Dear Members of the Western Community,
In a year that is ever evolving, it is inevitable that some changes will be made concerning the way elections are run in the 2020-2021 season. There may be times when we have to adapt and deal with a situation differently than in past years. We cannot yet guess the specificities of what these changes may be, but we feel that it is important to be transparent with you all early on so you are not blindsided by the new and alternative ways to manage the elections process in this new world in which we find ourselves.
Please be assured that the elections and the Elections Governance Committee will still be run equitably and the integrity of the fair elections processes that have been used in past years will be maintained.
