My three main goals as Social Science Councillor, will be to improve safety. inclusivity, and student resources. My goal as social science counsellor will be to create a campus that is safe for students, understanding to all, and offers a wide variety of student resources. By increasing campus security, we can ensure all student feel safe, at all time of day. By being more inclusive and understanding towards religious accommodations, and absences related to health we can be a more equitable and fair university. Lastly, student resources must be drastically improved. Students should have clear direction as to where to find resources, help, and skills that will benefit them in the future. By improving safety, inclusivity, and student resources, Western can continue to thrive and be the best University in Canada.
