The nomination period for the USC VP Elections ends Friday, February 9th at 11:59pm.

NOTICE:

January 15 @ 3:45pm

Due to an administrative error, the incorrect version of the USC nomination forms was initially released on January 15, 2024. The links have since been updated, but the Elections Governance Committee understands that some prospective candidates may use the version of the forms that was initially posted or may have started doing so. Nobody will be penalized for doing so.

The only differences in the forms are as follows:

  1. The updated version clarifies that signatures from nominators must be from students in the relevant constituency (applies to Faculty President and Faculty Council).
  2. The updated version includes a spot for campaign platform goals.

Prospective candidates who use the previous version of the forms or otherwise fail to provide the requisite number of eligible nominators and/or campaign platform goals will not be penalized for doing so, and will be given a reasonable amount of time after the nomination deadline to replace any ineligible nominators and/or to provide their campaign platform goals, if required. In all circumstances, prospective candidates still must submit a complete nomination package by the nomination deadline. The nomination deadline has not changed, and additional time will only be provided to correct nomination packages submitted by the deadline.

This notice only applies to USC positions. This notice does not apply to the UWO Senate or BOG elections.
