I was initially sceptical about running for USC because I felt like it was distant and often ineffective. Since then, I have realised that these feelings were largely a product of a lack of understanding. I believe it is the responsibility of the USC to communicate, engage, and serve students in order to fix this perception and improve student life. This is why I am running.
