Why you should Run

Running in an election is a great way to get involved in a USC and represent the student body at Western.

There are lots of positions to choose from… from councillor positions, to faculty president, student senators, or USC president, there are a myriad of ways to get involved in student government.

Watch your ideas and initiatives be implemented and improve the Western student experience.

Three Simple Steps

Deciding to run in an election is an exciting choice, but it can be hard to know where to begin.

Follow the three steps listed below for a broad understanding of how to get started

Choose a position

Find a position that reflects your goals working for the student body.

Apply

Submit your application on or prior to January 20th.

Campaign

Begin your campaign process in accordance with the rules set out in By-Law 2 and the EGC Violations Policy.
