From my first year as a representative in the HSSA to my current position as vice-president academics, I’ve consistently strived to inspire a holistic approach to academics that emphasizes health and wellness. My roles as vice-president of events for Canadian-Italian Awareness Organization Western, an Italian teacher for the London District Catholic School Board, undergraduate research assistant at University Hospital and child grief counsellor at Camp Erin have given me a broad perspective and the ability to lead with empathy, innovation and a vision for excellence.

My biggest objective would be to cultivate a supportive community where students’ interests are nurtured and their career aspirations are met. This involves creating a platform where professional development intersects with student well-being. I plan to offer access to resources like graduate panels featuring Health Sciences alumni, practical health lessons and a mental and physical health module for Health Sciences students. Furthermore, I’ll ensure diverse and inclusive representation within the association.
